From a colony of ants, a people who did the work.
A plague had emptied the island of Aegina. Its king, Aeacus, stood beneath an oak sacred to Zeus and watched a column of ants carrying grain up the trunk, and he asked for as many people as there were ants.
That night Zeus answered. The ants became men and women, and Aeacus called them Myrmidons, after μύρμηξ, the ant. They kept the habits of the colony: they worked hard, they kept what they gathered, and they stood together.
We build agents in the same spirit. Each one is a specialist with one job. Each works with the others. And each hands off to a person when a decision needs to be made.
What we took from the colony
Specialists
Every agent has one job and is built to do it well, the way each ant in a colony has its role.
The handoff
Agents do the legwork. People make the decisions, and the agent knows when to stop and ask.
One colony
One company, one account and one standard of care across PETROS and Tiphys.
